I started my yoga journey shortly after moving to Pittsburgh in 2019 when a friend asked me to come with them to the Amazing Yoga studio in Shadyside. I immediately fell in love with the new challenge. I was using new muscles I hadn’t used before and enjoyed being in the heat of the studio. I started using the hot yoga practice as a workout alternative to my normal running routine.

Come covid and lockdowns, I switched to using AY Online and really started to use the yoga practice as a moving meditation to help cope with stress and anxiety rather than using it as a ‘workout’ per se. It was during this time I fell in love with yoga in a whole new way.

When I started coming back to the studio I decided I wanted to deepen my practice and share my love of yoga and all the mind-body benefits it provides with others. I completed AY’s Level 1 teaching training in Fall of 2022 and am super excited to learn and teach at the studio where it all started for me!

In my spare time I like trying new foods and restaurants around Pittsburgh, taking care of my plant babies, running, and relaxing with a good rom-com novel.
