My yoga journey started as a New Year’s resolution back in January of 2012, and my first class was at Amazing Yoga. I was instantly drawn to the energetic style and the added challenge the heat brought to the experience. I love that yoga can be such a gratifying and humbling experience at the same time, each class feels like a victory.
After a few years, I became part of the work exchange community, practicing as much as I could and learning about the strength of both my body and mind through the challenges that met me along the way. The lessons I learned on the mat have improved my life in countless ways off the mat. After over a decade practicing, I’m so grateful to now have the opportunity to teach others in the very same studio that gave me the gift of yoga. One of the best parts of Yoga is the community. So, namaste my fellow yogis! Let’s flow together soon.
When I’m not practicing yoga, I’m practicing social work, outside with my pup, catching a concert or planning my next adventure.
