I took my very first class at Amazing Yoga in 2016. After being done with my college swimming career, I was looking for new ways to challenge myself and one of my teammates mentioned that she had been taking classes at Amazing Yoga. I decided to try a class with her, not knowing what to expect. After my very first class I was hooked. I was not very good at yoga at all, which made me eager to keep coming back. I would watch how many of the other students moved so gracefully and I thought the practice looked beautiful. I also loved how the yoga teachers helped me to be present in the moment and forget about everything else going on outside of the studio. I wanted to be able to share that feeling with others so I decided to take my level 1 teacher training in March of 2018. I started teaching at Amazing Yoga in September of 2018 and have fallen more in love with the practice. I love to keep learning from other teachers and even students.
Outside of Amazing Yoga I am a marriage and family therapist and if I could I would just refer all of my clients to Amazing Yoga because I think it is the best form of therapy. I also teach fitness classes at Mecka Fitness. If I am not on my mat you can find me exploring new hiking trails, at a local coffee shop, eating ethnic food, and visiting my home in Canada any chance I get.
