My yoga love affair began in 2009 at the Amazing Yoga Southside studio. Sixteen years old, inflexible, and impatient, I was shocked by how quickly I felt the power of this practice. For years, yoga was simply a fun activity to do with friends, but a more intimate and consistent daily practice became my salvation during college. Our bodies have an unbelievable level of cellular memory; every trauma, stress, thought and fear is lodged deep inside and I am eternally grateful for the ability to come to my mat and breath through all that junk. The practice humbles and inspires me, and every time I leave that hot sweaty room, I am a slightly better version of myself.

Eager to share the transformative powers of yoga, I completed the Amazing Yoga Level 1 Pittsburgh Teacher Training in February of 2015 and Level Two in Costa Rica later that same year. I feel extremely blessed for the daily teachers I have in Karen and Sean, and I am honored to be apart of this inspiring Amazing Yoga team. It is a privilege to be able to teach among the community that has meant so much to me.

On the rare occasion I’m not on my mat, I can be found with a dog by my side or a camera in my hand. I am a recent graduate from Penn State University and am now working as a freelance artist in the Pittsburgh area. Above all else I am an adventure seeker and travel bug — whether it’s down the street or around the world.
