As a former dancer, the gym scene was never for me. I initially turned to yoga as a form of exercise with intermittent practices in-between my college classes. Upon graduation from pharmacy school and the completion of two post-graduate residency programs, I took a month off in July 2013 before starting my first "real person" job. During this month, I became an Amazing Yoga frequent flyer.  Yoga not only transformed my body, it helped me become more present, grateful, and happy. Not much has changed, as I continuously develop my daily mat practice.  Although the practice changes every day, my mat accepts me — no matter how much I can or cannot offer. That is the beauty of yoga.

Being an AY teacher affords me the opportunity to give my students 75 minutes in which they move from the constant "to do" list running through their mind, to listening to their body and focusing on their breathing.

I completed Level 1 Teacher Training through Amazing Yoga in Pittsburgh in January 2014 and have already started planning Level 2 in Costa Rica 2015.

In my life off of the mat, I am an Emergency Medicine Pharmacy Clinical Specialist at Allegheny General Hospital.  I enjoy volunteer with Family House – Pittsburgh and The Junior League, trying new restaurants, and spending time with family and friends.
